A standard repair kit is included with this iPhone 12 Pro proximity sensor and earpiece speaker assembly. The kit provides the basic tools required for installation.

⚠️ Important: Face ID will no longer work after replacement

Please note: replacing this complete proximity sensor/earpiece speaker assembly will cause Face ID to stop working.

The front sensor assembly includes the proximity sensor and flood illuminator. The flood illuminator is part of the Face ID system and is factory-paired to the individual iPhone. A replacement assembly cannot inherit this original pairing.

If Face ID needs to be preserved, the original front sensor assembly must be carefully transferred from the device, provided the original component is still intact.

Before final installation, test the earpiece speaker, proximity sensor and other functions of the assembly. Take extra care around the sensors, flex cables and sensitive infrared components.
